The perfect cup of Tea

Interlaken is located in the town where Harney & Sons originated back in 1983.  It has been my favorite tea brand for as long as I can remember – and although they have been worldwide for quite some time, I will always remember how excited I got when I was at a very nice resort in Orlando many years ago and they served Harney & Sons tea!  Because I was younger at the time, it was hard for me imagine them distributing their tea from Connecticut all the way to Florida!  OK, as I said, I was young back then and didn’t get the entire picture!  I get it now, and obviously so does Harney:  their tea can be found at many gourmet shops and fine dining establishments all over (including Morgan’s restaurant!).  Now their wonderful tea shop over in Millerton, NY will have a sister:  Harney & Sons is opening a tea house in SOHO this coming Monday, November 13th.  433 Broome Street is the official address – I know I plan to stop in the next time I take a trip to NYC!   If you’ve never had Harney Tea, you must come to Morgan’s restaurant at Interlaken so that we can serve you up a nice hot cup!
